A little girl's cut becomes deadly because the doctor did not have the needed sutures. A young man screams as his physician has to perform an emergency appendectomy without anesthesia. A man of immense wealth dies of a treatable heart attack because there was no time to transport him.

These are many of the common health issues that people in developed countries take for granted, but MANY people worldwide living in impoverished nations do not have the luxury of.

The citizens of the United States often complain of a failing healthcare system and unemployment. Imagine for a moment that not only did you not have healthcare benefits, but you literally didn't have a qualified healthcare facility within 6 hours of your home. Now imagine that you get out of school and want to work so badly to provide yourself with income and there are literally no jobs available ...
