About Rome Foundation
The Rome Foundation believes that all people regardless of ethnicity, religion, color, or nationality have the inalienable right to basic needs, including life sustaining healthcare, potable water, etc. and is dedicated toward providing third world countries with the medical resources and facilities necessary to preserve and promote life.
Rome Foundation was initially founded to increase the quantity and quality of available medical care in emerging countries. Haiti has been a main focus of Rome with its high poverty levels and low availability of medical services and supplies. Since its inception, the goal has been expanded beyond healthcare to help create jobs, educate the masses and work on key infrastructure projects that will help the Haitian people.
The leading causes of death in most underdeveloped countries are preventable health issues. Rome's primary goal is to provide as much assistance as possible in the form of equipment donations, medicine donations and the establishment of new and refurbished clinics and hospitals.
The passion we have for the Haitian people can only be shared by those who visit these impoverished, yet inspiring people.
